Solvent Yellow 56
Solvent Yellow 56 (C.I. 11020) is a low-volatility, heat-resistant oil-soluble solvent yellow dye. Completely insoluble in water, it dissolves readily in oil-based solvents, resins, waxes, and hydrocarbon systems. With excellent thermal stability, it is ideal for coloring plastics, inks, waxes, and oils under medium-to-high temperature conditions.
Basic Features
Plastic Masterbatch & Injection Molding
For transparent/translucent plastics (pendants, stationery, lighting). Stable at 220°C, ideal for warm amber, brown, and orange-yellow tones.
Printing Inks & Lamination
For PVC, synthetic leather, and packaging. Delivers golden, orange, and warning base colors with smooth, uniform, and clog-free printing.
Wood & Epoxy Resin Coloring
For wooden crafts and epoxy resin. Creates warm amber tones while preserving natural grain and transparency, perfect for vintage and light-luxury styles.
Craft Waxes & Oil Tracing
For aromatherapy and sealing waxes, ensuring uniform melt dispersion and stable color. Also serves as an orange-yellow tracer to identify lubricants and fuels.
Oil-Based Recoloring & Marking
For highlighters, shoe polish, leather care, and aluminum anodizing. Provides a sheer, texture-preserving coating suitable for room-to-high temperature oil systems.
