Solvent Yellow 47 (C.I. 12740) is a greenish-yellow oil-soluble solvent yellow dye. Completely insoluble in water, it dissolves readily in aromatics, esters, ketones, and various oil-based resins and wax systems. It offers excellent heat resistance and minimal batch-to-batch color variation, striking a perfect balance between cost-effectiveness and coloring transparency.
