Solvent Green 3 (C.I. 61565) is an anthraquinone high-temperature oil-soluble dye. It is commonly blended with various Solvent Blue Dyes, is completely insoluble in water, and forms a clear, precipitation-free solution. Combining high heat resistance, excellent lightfastness, strong tinting strength, and low migration, it is perfectly suited for premium oil-based systems such as high-temperature plastics, weather-resistant inks, baking paints, and waxes.

Basic Features

High-Temperature Plastics / Transparent Masterbatch
Compatible with PC, PET, ABS, PMMA, and PS for injection molding and extrusion. Ideal for optical transparent components, premium cosmetic packaging, transparent toys, and lighting. It delivers a clear, bright blue-green hue, remaining haze-free and non-blooming during processing at 300°C. As a mainstream dye for high-temperature transparent green, it is also suitable for polyester dope dyeing.

Outdoor Solvent-Based Inks
Suitable for screen and gravure printing of gift packaging, aluminum foil, and leather inks. Excellent for formulating cool green, gray, and brown shades. It delivers fine coloring and prevents color bleeding or migration during long-term storage under lamination.

High-Temp Baked Coatings
Ideal for wood wiping varnishes and resin encapsulants. It fully preserves the natural wood grain and creates stunning blue-green finishes.

Waxes & Oil Marking
Ideal for craft candles, hot-melt sealing waxes, lubricants, and fuel tracing dyes. It ensures uniform dispersion upon melting, leaving no floating color or frosting on the final product.

Fine Chemical Additives
Oil-based high-temperature color pastes, leather care oils, aluminum anodizing, oil-based insecticides, and polishing oils.
