Solvent Red 18
Solvent Red 18 (C.I. 12714) is a cost-effective monoazo oil-soluble dye. Completely insoluble in water, it forms a clear solution with no impurities or precipitation. It provides an even, soft color without harsh or glaring red tones, and blends seamlessly with various solvent yellow dyes to create warm, vibrant shades. With low production costs and compatibility with various low-to-medium temperature oil-based processes, it offers excellent batch-to-batch color consistency. It is a widely used primary red tinting base in the market.
