Solvent Brown 53
Solvent Brown 53 (C.I. 71135) is an azo oil-soluble dye, commonly blended with Solvent Blue Dyes and Solvent Black Dyes for color matching. It is insoluble in water but dissolves well in organic solvents, forming a clear and stable solution. This dye features high tinting strength and excellent dispersibility, offering outstanding cost-effectiveness.
Basic Features
High-Temperature Plastics / Transparent Masterbatch
Compatible with ABS, PS, PMMA, PVC, SAN. Ideal for transparent stationery, lighting, and packaging. Provides a clear reddish-brown hue, haze-free and non-blooming at 260°C.
Outdoor Solvent-Based Inks
For screen/gravure printing on packaging, foil, and leather. Formulates coffee, bronze, and olive brown shades. Ensures fine dots and prevents color bleeding under lamination.
High-Temp Baked Coatings
For wood wiping oils, clear varnishes, and resin crafts. Creates reddish-brown and amber effects while preserving the natural wood grain.
Waxes & Oil Marking
For candles, sealing waxes, lubricants, and fuel tracing. Ensures uniform melt dispersion with minimal frosting upon cooling.
Fine Chemical Additives
For color pastes, markers, shoe polish, leather care, and aluminum anodizing. Adapts to room and medium-temperature oil-based systems.
