Solvent Black 3
Solvent Black 3 (C.I. 26150) is a highly versatile azo oil-soluble solvent black dye. It is insoluble in water but readily dissolves in organic solvents such as esters, ketones, and aromatic hydrocarbons, forming a transparent color hue with minimal precipitation.
Basic Features
Plastic Masterbatch
For general transparent plastics. Haze-free and non-blooming at 250°C. A cost-effective solution for everyday transparent products.
For laminated packaging, synthetic leather, and foil. Delivers fine dots, prevents color bleeding, and suits mid-to-low-end mass production.
For furniture and flooring. Creates transparent walnut black and charcoal brown bases that enhance the natural wood grain.
For black and sealing waxes. Ensures uniform melt dispersion with no frosting or mottling.
