Solvent Yellow 2
Solvent Yellow 2 (C.I. 11020) is a monoazo primary oil-soluble solvent yellow dye. It is completely insoluble in water but dissolves rapidly in organic solvents, forming a clear, transparent solution with no precipitation. This dye features stable tinting strength and excellent dispersibility.
Basic Features
Daily-Use Plastic Masterbatch
For cost-effective transparent plastics (decor, pens, basic packaging). Haze-free at 230°C. Ideal primary yellow base for amber and yellow-green textures. Not for high-temp engineering plastics.
Packaging Flexo & Screen Inks
For disposable packaging, synthetic leather, and PVC films. Creates light yellow and vintage green bases. Ensures smooth printing and prevents color bleeding under lamination.
Wood Finishes & Resin Casting
For antique wood wiping and small resin crafts. Creates transparent amber and light yellow-green finishes while fully preserving the natural wood grain.
Marker Oils & Decorative Waxes
For layer-tracing lubricants and diesel. Ideal for craft and sealing waxes, ensuring uniform melt dispersion with no frosting or floating color.
Consumer Care & Coloring
For leather oils, markers, shoe polish, and aluminum anodizing. Provides a sheer, transparent color without an opaque feel.
