Solvent Blue 128
Solvent Blue 128 (C.I. 60744) is a triarylmethane oil-soluble solvent blue dye. It is completely insoluble in water, yet dissolves rapidly in organic solvents such as xylene, esters, and ketones, forming a clear solution with no precipitation. It features high tinting strength and excellent dispersibility, with consistent batch-to-batch color stability and outstanding cost-effectiveness.
Basic Features
Transparent Plastic Masterbatch
Compatible with ABS, PS, and PMMA injection molding. Ideal for transparent stationery, lighting, and affordable cosmetic packaging. Remains haze-free and non-blooming at 240°C. A versatile reddish-blue tinting base.
Solvent-Based Printing Inks
For screen/gravure printing on gift packaging, aluminum foil, and leather. Excellent for formulating green, gray, and brown shades. Delivers fine coloring and prevents color bleeding under lamination.
Wood Finishes & Epoxy Resins
For wood wiping varnishes and epoxy resin coloring. Enhances wood grain and creates blue-toned wood finishes.
Waxes & Oil Marking
For candles, hot-melt sealing waxes, and lubricants. Ensures uniform melt dispersion with no floating color or frosting on the final product.
Universal Oil-Based Additives
For oil-based color pastes, markers, leather care oils, and aluminum anodizing. Adapts to room and medium-temperature oil-based systems.
