Pigment Orange 73 Paste
Pigment Orange 73 Paste is a high-performance organic pigment paste belonging to the diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) family. It is insoluble in water and conventional organic solvents, and can only achieve stable dispersion in water-based systems.
It boasts high tinting strength and excellent lightfastness and weather resistance, along with impressive heat resistance. Compared to standard azo orange pigments, it exhibits significantly superior resistance to bleeding and migration. However, due to its relatively high cost, it is primarily used in mid-to-high-end color matching applications and is not suitable for high-volume, cost-sensitive low-end products.

Pigment Orange 73 Paste Application:
High-End Water-Based Packaging Inks
Compatible with flexographic and gravure printing processes, ideal for premium gift boxes, cosmetic labels, and composite paper printing. It offers outstanding color saturation to meet the color matching needs for spot orange. It produces fine halftone dots and exhibits excellent migration resistance under multi-layer lamination, preventing color bleeding.
Weather-Resistant Water-Based Coatings
Applied in exterior decorative paints, premium water-based wood coatings, and air-drying industrial topcoats. It maintains stable color shades in outdoor environments, making it highly suitable for coating products that require long-term color retention.
Coloring for Synthetic Leather and Crafts
Ideal for surface finishing of synthetic leather, artistic hand-painting pigments, and color matching for room-temperature resin crafts. It can be compounded with red and yellow pigments to create a rich palette of warm tones. Note: Avoid ultra-high-temperature hot-pressing post-processing during manufacturing.
Water-Based Colorants for Plastics
Can be used as water-based pigment dispersions for PVC and PU. Due to cost constraints, it is primarily applied in small-batch, high-value-added products and is not suitable for high-volume production of standard plastics.
