Pigment Blue 15:1 Paste
Pigment Blue 15:1 Paste is a β-stable crystal form of copper phthalocyanine pigment paste. The water-based paste is processed through multiple stages of wet grinding, which fully breaks down the pigment particles to virtually eliminate hard agglomerates, resulting in excellent paste fluidity.
Unlike the metastable α-form (PB 15:0), its crystal structure is highly stable, effectively preventing color shifts caused by crystal phase transitions. It also offers more reliable solvent and heat resistance.
The pigment itself is insoluble in water and various organic solvents; it relies on dispersants to achieve stable dispersion and compatibility in aqueous systems. It exhibits excellent compatibility with the vast majority of water-based emulsion resins. With outstanding lightfastness and resistance to acids and alkalis, it maintains long-term color stability in both indoor coatings and outdoor products, making it one of the most versatile grades in the phthalocyanine blue family.

Compatible with flexographic, gravure, and water-based offset printing. It is ideal for paper gift boxes, labels, and laminated flexible packaging. The greenish-blue shade offers high saturation and produces clean halftone dots. It is resistant to color changes when exposed to medium-strength solvents and prevents migration and color bleeding during laminated storage.
Suitable for both indoor artistic wall paints and water-based wood coatings, as well as exterior weather-resistant coating systems. The paint film provides long-lasting color and withstands acid, alkali, and rain erosion. It can be compounded with yellow pigments to formulate various shades of green, making it a widely used primary blue paste in the coatings industry.
