Pigment Black 11 Paste is an iron-based inorganic iron oxide black pigment paste. As an inorganic metal oxide, it is completely insoluble in water and organic solvents. It boasts excellent chemical stability, strong resistance to acids and alkalis, and outstanding heat resistance.

Its main drawback is limited tinting strength; achieving a high degree of blackness requires a relatively high dosage. However, it avoids the common issues associated with carbon black, such as difficult dispersion and floating/flooding. Therefore, it is highly suitable for coating systems that prioritize long-term outdoor durability.

Outdoor Weather-Resistant Water-Based Coatings
Ideal for exterior wall paints, water-based road marking paints, and outdoor metal anti-rust topcoats. It maintains excellent color stability under long-term sun and rain exposure. When formulating gray and black shades, it is highly preferred over carbon black to avoid the common issue of outdoor aging and graying.

Architectural and Cement Coloring
Perfect for coloring cement slurries, putties, mortars, and concrete products. It exhibits excellent compatibility with alkaline cement substrates and its color shade will not be compromised by strong alkalis. It is widely used for color matching in various cement components.

Water-Based Finishing for Synthetic Leather
Suitable for synthetic leather fabrics intended for outdoor use. Its iron-black tone is soft and mild, and unlike carbon black, it will not cause nozzle clogging, making it highly suitable for large-scale spray coating processes.

Crafts and Educational Pigments
Ideal for water-based hand-painting pigments, as well as coloring plaster and stone. The black tone is warm and mellow, lacking the cold and harsh feel of carbon black. It is perfect for creating antique and matte dark effects.
