Solvent Violet 136
Solvent Violet 136 (C.I. 60760)is an oil-soluble dye primarily used for transparent coloring in various non-aqueous systems.Along with solvent blue dyes, which feature excellent dissolving capacity in aliphatic and aromatic solvents. It features a clean color tone, making it ideal for formulating dark-colored systems.
Thanks to its excellent solubility and dispersion stability in organic solvents, it forms a highly transparent purple solution upon dissolution. Therefore, it is widely applied in industrial coloring across multiple fields, including coatings, printing inks, plastics, resins, oils, and waxes.
Basic Features
Printing Inks: Highly recommended for solvent-based gravure and screen printing inks, as well as printing on films, metal foils, and labels.
Oils & Waxes Coloring: Excellent for tinting lubricants, fuel markers, shoe polishes, candles, hot-melt waxes, and wax crafts.
Plastic Coloring: A great choice for transparent coloring and masterbatch tinting of thermoplastic resins like PS, ABS, SAN, and PMMA.
Other Applications: Versatile enough for oil-based marker inks, leather finishes, aluminum anodizing, insulating oil marking, and resin crafts.
