Solvent Orange 7
Solvent Orange 7 (C.I.12140) is an oil-soluble dye, together with solvent yellow dyes, is insoluble in water but highly soluble in strongly polar organic solvents. When dissolved in standard oil-based formulations, it yields a transparent orange-red solution with no obvious residue or suspended matterThis solvent is compatible with various industrial dyes, and it performs exceptionally well in dissolving the fluorescent indicator Rhodamine B dye.
