Pigment Red 49:2 Paste, commonly known as Lithol Rubine, is a monoazo calcium salt lake organic pigment. Compared to PR 49:1, it features a deeper, darker tone and pronounced semi-transparency. It offers outstanding tinting strength and stable dispersibility in water-based systems, making it a highly cost-effective universal deep red pigment paste. Due to its limited acid and alkali resistance and weather resistance, it is strictly intended for indoor applications and must not be used in food-contact applications or products intended for prolonged outdoor exposure.

Water-based and Solvent-based Printing Inks
Compatible with water-based surface printing, gravure, and offset inks, it is widely used for paper packaging, standard trademarks, and brochure printing. It features a rich, full-bodied blue-shade deep red, making it ideal for formulating dark red and wine red base colors. With its excellent ink fluidity, it is highly suitable for large-volume commercial printing orders. However, it is not recommended for outdoor printing applications requiring weather resistance.

Coloring for Stationery and Cultural/Creative Products
Ideal for use in oil pastels, crayons, ink pads, and watercolor pastes. It offers easy dispersion and a rich, intense deep red tone, perfectly meeting the tinting requirements for various indoor stationery and cultural/creative products.

General Interior Color Pastes and Soft Plastics & Rubber
Can be used to formulate water-based interior wall color pastes and is also suitable for coloring soft PVC and general rubber components. Due to its limited weather resistance, it is strictly for indoor use and should be kept away from highly acidic and highly alkaline environments.
