As an α-crystal form of Copper Phthalocyanine Blue, Pigment Blue 15:0 Paste is a distinctive reddish-blue organic pigment dispersion. This water-based paste is produced through a multi-stage wet grinding and dispersion process, resulting in a smooth consistency with virtually no hard agglomerates.
The pigment paste itself is insoluble in both water and organic solvents; it relies on dispersants to achieve stable dispersion and compatibility within aqueous systems. A critical consideration during selection is its crystal instability: exposure to high temperatures or strong aromatic solvents can trigger a crystal phase transition, causing the color shade to shift towards green-blue.
While it offers good lightfastness and resistance to acids and alkalis, its crystal structure limits its suitability for outdoor weathering or high-temperature processing. Therefore, it is primarily recommended for color matching in indoor applications.

Soft Packaging Water-based Printing
Primarily used for flexographic and gravure printing on paper labels and gift boxes—products that do not require subsequent high-temperature treatment. The reddish-blue variant offers high saturation and produces clean halftone dots, making it outstanding for formulating Pantone shades like royal blue and blue-violet. Note: It is not suitable for ink processes involving strong solvents or high-temperature drying, as this can easily cause color shifting.

Indoor Architectural Coatings
Recommended strictly for indoor environments, such as artistic interior wall paints and standard water-based wood topcoats. It delivers vibrant colors and good acid/alkali resistance, making it ideal for formulating various decorative blue tones. Not suitable for exterior wall paints, as outdoor exposure will accelerate crystal phase transition, leading to color deviation over time.

Cultural & Creative Products and Synthetic Leather Processing
Ideal for hand-painting pigments, paper dyeing, room-temperature resin crafts, and water-based surface coatings for synthetic leather. It performs stably in ambient temperature systems and is excellent for blending with magenta to create rich blue-violet shades. Caution: Avoid post-processing thermal steps, such as high-temperature calendering for leather, to prevent shade alteration.
