Sulphur black also known as sulphur black BR dye, is a very important sulfur dye with a long history. It occupies a place in the textile printing and dyeing industry with its unique performance and low cost.
1. Main purpose
The main use of sulphur black is for dyeing cotton textiles, especially for products that require extremely deep black color.
Dyeing of cellulose fibers:
·Cotton fabric: This is the largest application of sulphur black, such as for dyeing labor fabrics, canvas, knitted fabrics, etc.
·Hemp fiber: used for dyeing hemp fabrics.
·Adhesive fiber (artificial cotton/synthetic silk): also commonly dyed with sulphur black.
2. Specific products:
·Denim: Especially early, very dark black or navy blue denim.
·Industrial textiles such as canvas, work gloves, and workwear.
·Knitted underwear, socks, etc. (attention should be paid to post-processing to solve the problem of brittleness).
·Color cloth: Some low-priced black cotton fabrics on the market.
Attention: sulphur black cannot be used for dyeing protein fibers (such as wool and silk) and synthetic fibers (such as polyester and nylon).
