Mixing dye powder/oil-based colorant+nitro/PU/alkyd diluent, adding varnish for transparent wood grain coloring.

The recommend dye is 1:2 metal complex solvent dyes, completely soluble in ester, ketone, and xylene paint thinners, without delamination, precipitation, and transparency to show wood grain.

1. Suitable diluent types (all can dissolve this type of dye)

Most customers’ standard paint thinner is compatible with:
Nitro thinner (banana water): ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, toluene, xylene
PU polyester thinner: butanone, cyclohexanone MIBK、 Propylene glycol methyl ether
Alcoholic acid thinner: xylene, high boiling aromatic hydrocarbons
Universal slow drying diluent: ester+alcohol ether compound solvent
