Product characteristics
Dyeing performance:
-Excellent reducing solubility requires the formation of a dark colored dye on fibers under alkaline conditions (such as reducing with insurance powder).
-After dyeing, it is oxidized to restore its original color, with bright hues and excellent fastness.
-Color light: The standard color is bright red, and the depth can be adjusted according to the process.
-Fastness performance:
-Washing fastness: 4-5 levels (excellent)
-Light fastness: 5-6 grades (high grade)
-Rubbing fastness: 3-4 levels
Vat Red Dyes Application
-Restoration process:
1. Reduction dissolution: The dye is reduced to a chromophore in a solution of NaOH and sodium hydrosulfite (Na ₂ S ₂ O ₄).
2. Dyeing: The chromophore adsorbs onto the fiber (20-50 ℃).
3. Oxidation: Treatment with air or oxidants (such as hydrogen peroxide) to restore insoluble dyes.
4. Soap washing: Remove floating colors and improve fastness.
-Applicable processes: immersion dyeing, pad dyeing, and roll dyeing.
