Solvent Red 24 (C.I. Solvent Red 24, CAS: 85-83-6) is an oil soluble bisazo solvent dyes with a dark red powder appearance and a bright blue light red color.

It is a commonly used transparent red coloring agent in the production of plastic masterbatch and is widely suitable for processing various thermoplastic resin colorants.

Core performance

The resin has excellent compatibility and can dissolve well in resin systems such as PS, ABS, SAN, PMMA, AS, etc. It is evenly dispersed during granulation and extrusion, not easy to precipitate, and has no white spots. It can produce highly transparent red masterbatch, and the product has good transparency and gloss.

Good heat resistance and stability, suitable for high-temperature processing of masterbatch extrusion and injection molding. It is not easy to decompose and fade under high-temperature granulation conditions. The color difference of the finished masterbatch batch is small, the coloring power is high, and the addition amount is low, effectively reducing the production cost of masterbatch.

The color is pure and bright, with outstanding transparency effect, which is different from the solid color covering effect of inorganic pigments. It is suitable for transparent plastic color masterbatch, with full color tone and transparent color.

Stable acid and alkali resistance, not easily affected by additives in resin processing systems, good compatibility with commonly used colorants such as plasticizers and dispersants, and not easy to migrate or bleed.
