Acid red 52 is a dark red powder. It is easily soluble in water, the aqueous solution is blue red with yellow fluorescence, and the sodium hydroxide solution is blue red. Soluble in ethanol. It is orange yellow in concentrated sulfuric acid and red after dilution.

For the application, acid red 52 can not only used for making ink but also used for paper mill and leather coloring.
