The solvent black dyes produced by Cangzhou Xincheng Chemical is a reddish black alcohol soluble nigrosine black pigment based on a multi-component mixture. It has the characteristics of high coloring power and good stability. Solvent black 5 is insoluble in water, soluble in benzene and toluene. When it is soluble in methanol or ethanol, it is blue light black, especially soluble in oleic acid and stearic acid. When it meets concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid, it is blue black, and there is blue black precipitate after dilution.

Solvent black 5 pigment is widely used in the product coloring applications of plastics, rubber, insulating bakelite, marker pen oil, carbon paper, leather shoe oil, oil based self drying alkyd paint, nitrocellulose paint, water-based paint, thermosetting paint, resin board, wood decoration technology coloring, stationery, high-speed ink (alcohol), etc.
