Application
It is mainly used to make pure blue and blue-black ink. It can also be used to prepare color lakes for blue printing ink. It can also be used for silk, cotton and leather dyeing and biological coloring and can also be used as an indicator.
Physicochemical properties
It is very soluble in cold water and hot water. When it is soluble in alcohol, the color is is blue with green shade. When concentrated sulphuric acid, it is red-brown, it is blue-purple after dilution.
